Real Mom Nutrition — Created by registered dietitian Sally Kuzemchak, we love the recipes (and want some banana oatmeal cups right now) — and her advice for keeping kids healthy and eating well is a life-saver.
Be Mom Strong — By Emma Moyer, a young mom with two little girls, and an ACE-certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist, this blog is packed with recipes and nutrition advice. Her promise, “I don’t clean the house well, but I will clean the heck out of your lifestyle!” We are taking her up on this one, today.
Knocked-Up Fitness — Get expert prenatal fitness advice from Erica Ziel, a personal trainer who serves on the advisory board for Fit Pregnancy magazine. She includes her own videos and photos — a huge help for those of us with two left feet — and we are currently trying out all of her tips for back pain relief.
Athlete Food — A collection of tasty recipes by Laurel and Rebeccah Wassner, twins and professional triathletes, and Melissa Lasher, a food writer. Seriously, these three have credentials. Two of them are also moms and know how hard it is to cook for kids. Even if your athletic prowess is more taking-a-20-minute-walk than completing a triathlon, you’ll find all the healthy dishes you need to fuel your day. (Though skip the cocktail recipes when you’re preggo, of course.)
Homemade Mommy — Mom Lindsey Gremont has great information on GMOs, non-toxic cookware, healthy fats — and everything in between. Loaded with recipes for both foods and natural products like sunscreen, as soon as we saw The Best Kid-Friendly Kale Avocado Salad, we were completely sold.
